| Our Woodlake Market team offers a full-service bakery, deli, floral, meat and seafood departments, as well as local organically-raised beef and poultry, and a large selection of unique and hard-to-find specialty grocery products. As the Meat & Seafood Clerk, you will be responsible for: - Greet, welcome and assist all guests on their purchasing needs and educate them on the products and services provided.
- Utilizing your customer service skills to provide guests with prompt, courteous service by taking and preparing meat orders according to guest specifications
- Applying your knowledge of equipment use, food safety standards, sanitation standards, inventory control to effectively manage your assigned area
- Employing your culinary skills by cutting, trimming, weighing, and wrapping meat products to size for general sale
- Suggestive sell our retail offerings, in-shop promotions and inform guests of events.
We have part time opportunities available. Shifts will vary between 7:00am and 8:00pm, weekdays and weekends. Skills/Requirements - Prior experience in a meat department is preferred
- Serve Safe certification preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- The ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift
- Ability to lift up 40 lbs regularly
