Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Materials Operations Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Electronics and Fuel Systems Unit in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Manage, develop, and lead the daily activities of multiple production teams
• Work cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
• Interface with Third Party Logistics Companies
• Lead inventory accuracy improvement activities: managing FSC cycle counts
• Responsible for Facilitating Root Cause/Corrective Action work led by FSC Material Planners to drive Plant Stock Accuracy across all Plant Functions and Value Streams including managing Plant Annual Physical Inventory
• Manage corporate freight cross charges
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives: implement IMR’s, warehouse management and ACDM process-metrics management and improvement.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• BS Degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• 3 or more years of Warehouse or Store Management experience
• Experience with FedEx and shipment experience
• Strong knowledge in Material Operations
• Experienced with Continuous Improvement initiatives
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
