Position Overview

Daily Harvest is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Innovation + Operations team. The Innovation + Operations team operationalizes the Daily Harvest mission from conception to delivery. We ideate and bring our food to life. We source ingredients and build supply chains, we create sustainable packaging solutions, ensure food safety, and instill production capabilities that benefit our customers, our partners, and our planet. All of this is done to ensure on-time deliveries and a perfect experience for our customers.

Our Logistics Coordinator will be in charge of managing and processing all of our orders on a weekly basis making sure that our boxes deliver to the customer flawlessly. You will be responsible for improving the customer experience by proactively resolving customer delivery issues and holding carriers accountable for performance. You will also be in charge of collecting all of the metrics for the logistics team, keeping track of our KPI’s and handle invoicing for our logistics vendors to ensure accuracy in reporting and cost management.

**NOTE: this role requires working Sunday evenings between 7PM and 10PM.  Availability to work some hours on holidays and other off-schedule hours is a must (it can be done remotely).**

 

What you’ll do:

  • Process orders daily and create our shipping labels for our facilities to print and pack Maintain & analyze logistics metrics on a weekly basis
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as invoice management and data entry and implement processes to keep our data accurate and up to date at all times
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams to manage our emergency response channel handling all Logistics-related inquiries
  • Work with our marketing team to coordinate boxes and product for special events, product launches and influencers
  • Work with our carriers to monitor in transit orders, anticipate any potential delays in delivery and reship boxes if needed
  • Work on continuously improving our order management process, mitigate risk and reduce error rate as the company scales

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and or supply chain related certifications preferred, or 1-3 years in administrative work
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • High proficiency in Excel is a must. SQL is a huge plus
  • Ability to work cross functionally & communicate clearly (written and verbal) and in an engaging manner with colleagues of various levels of experience and management
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities with minimal supervision
  • Bias for action and drive to produce results
  • Ability to operate under pressure when needed and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines is a must
  • Ability to manage documentation, input data accurately and with great attention to detail
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work in a fast-moving and constantly evolving high growth environment
  • Positive attitude and excitement to take on new challenges as the company evolves
