Full-Time Lead Bartender
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Bartender to oversee and ensure a positive customer experience and optimize the bar’s performance. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry, and the ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Train and supervise bar staff ensuring high levels of customer service and professionalism
- Manage daily operations of the bar including staffing, product offering and customer service
- Implement strategies to optimize bar performance and profitability
- Ensure the bar adheres to all licensing, hygiene, health and safety regulations
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of products
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role with the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of industry trends and ability to implement popular bar concepts
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Food Handlers and TIPS certification
- Micros Simphony experience is a plus
Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Bar setting is highly desirable.
