Overview
Morning Brew is looking for a multi-tasking, talented junior graphic designer to join the Design team. You will be supporting our designers by creating visual assets for editorial stories, branded content pieces, social media and marketing assets, and sales RFPs. You will be working on multiple deliverables at a time and should feel comfortable working in a fast paced environment. This role sits in Design, within the Product org, and reports to the art director.
Here’s what you’ll be working on:
– Support the design team by creating and editing beautiful visual designs for editorial, marketing, and sales teams
– Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the design is communicating the desired message
– Translating the stakeholder vision through illustration, photo editing, typography, etc.
– Producing thorough work that follows Morning Brew design guidelines
– Coordinate timelines with team members to meet deliverable deadlines
– Curating inspiration for the design team as a whole
What makes you qualified?
– Professional experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally working on editorial or sales materials
– Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Art/Design, or similar field
– Proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma
– Strong attention to detail
– Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines
– Ability to translate verbal concepts into visual ideals
– Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas.
– Ability to graciously receive tough feedback, while still managing expectations and championing good work.
– Strong time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
– Excited to learn, improve, and grow as a designer.
