At our Mississauga site in Canada, Cummins is developing innovative electrolyzer technologies that can generate hydrogen for various applications with zero emissions – contributing to a safe and healthy environment for future generations.
We have a diverse team of engineers dedicated to the development of existing and future products for customers on a global scale. We are currently looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join the team and identify suitable solutions for out electrolyzer products.
We have a thrilling new product development pipeline that includes medium and large-scale platforms for both PEM (HyLYZER) and Alkaline (HySTAT) technologies. Expect to be part of a dynamic environment, where you collaborate to develop the next generation of Hydrogen electrolyzers.
Your impact with include;
This entry level engineering position applies basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices to one or more of the following assigned tasks: specification, design, development, analysis, release, validation and maintenance of new and current products/subsystems through the product life cycle.
Supports both the power distribution and the I&C specialists inside the electrical engineering team
Performs with the assistance of senior staff specific design calculation, simulations, FMEAs, RCAs
Interacts with the service department to support troubleshooting of units in commissioning
Can tackle internal research projects in the domain of modelling, simulation, and engineering design.
Provides engineering design support on project pipeline.
Develops top-notch technical expertise. We expect the position to grow as an internal expert.
Works 25% on projects the engineering of water electrolysers projects, 50% in product development and
To be a success in this role you will need;
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
1 plus years of work experience as an engineer is required.
Preferred candidates could have relevant experience working in an temporary student employment or co-op
Knowledge of Auto Cad and Schematics is required
