Job Summary
Redstart Creative is seeking a Jr. Graphic Designer. The Jr. Graphic Designer will help conceive and implement visual marketing programs that range from print media to digital presentations, under the direction of the Creative Director. The Jr. Graphic Designer will assist in the development of creative concepts on new projects and help design engaging collateral for our clients that tell a story and elicit an emotional response from readers. The Jr. Graphic Designer will attend all applicable client meetings and on occasion, deliver and present creative concepts to the client.
This position is a 1099 contract engagement and hours are based on individual project needs. Flexibility with hours and availability is required – the position is remote and candidates must be available for a minimum of 10 hours per week with availability during core hours for client meetings and calls.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Interview clients and create content assets.
- Interpret clients’ vision and execute a tangible and deliverable product.
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
- Use computer software to generate new images.
- Attend and participate in kick-off meetings; present client information, contribute to the development of plans and the launch of the project.
- Aid in the development of solid trusting relationships with clients.
- Establish schedules on both long and short-term projects.
- Meet deadlines.
