IT Delivery Manager – Infrastructure & Security

Permanent Position

Reporting to the Director of IT, this position is responsible for the following:

  • Aligns technical solutions with the organization’s strategic business goals by assessing business requirements for new projects and defining architectural strategies to optimize service delivery;
  • Leads complex design sessions and works closely with customer and business partners to establish requirements in order to develop a given solution;
  • Works independently, prioritizes and multitasks in a dynamic environment, adapts quickly to change and manages multiple projects simultaneously. The individual must be able to show leadership skills and have the ability to lead Infrastructure and Security teams;
  • Provides regular updates with directors and managers within the department on key objectives, authorization for approved outages, and day-to-day discussions on operational issues;
  • Provides leadership, direction, mentoring and assistance to all team members in an effort to foster growth and development;
  • Provides new product ideas – innovations, recommendations on new and emerging technologies, existing infrastructure, technology prototypes, and process improvements;
  • Manages and maintains architectural documentation and diagrams in keeping with corporate objectives, standards, strategies, and goals;
  • Ensures IT policies, procedures and standards to be implemented and followed for enterprise solutions;
  • Actions change management documentation;
  • Manage and maintain Cyber Security strategy, awareness, and incident response, and audit;
  • Managing and supporting PCI compliance;
  • Management and development of infrastructure, security, storage/backup, business continuity, cloud, wireless, and network strategic plans;
  • Works with third party vendors to develop solutions that meet the technical, functional and business requirements;
  • Accountable for end to end support for production environments including after hours on-call rotation duties;

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduation from a recognized university with major course work in Computer Science or related field;
  • Minimum ten (10) years Information technology field;
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in coordinating and/or supervising IT projects;
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with system integration, system planning, security and software management best practices;
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and techniques;
  • Knowledge of data center/server room security (incl. HVAC, environmental alarms, access restrictions);
  • Knowledge of security solutions, such as firewall, anti-virus and intrusion detection systems;
  • Knowledge of storage architecture design techniques, theories, principles and practices;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture and security;
  • Experience and knowledge of Cloud services and technologies;
  • Thorough understanding of software licensing and compliance;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment;
  • Proven analytical, creative problem solving and collaborative decision making abilities;
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, customer service and teambuilding skills;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Project Management skills is a definite asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex infrastructure and security items  correctly and clearly to both internal and external partners;
  • Experience in large-scale, cross-functional projects, processes and systems related to supply chain management, retail, wholesale, POS, logistics and warehouse management would be an asset.

Salary:               HL 22 – $71,397 – $92,816
