Wagstaff Media & Marketing is an integrated public relations and marketing agency devoted to the culinary, travel and wine and spirits industries. We are looking for a dynamic intern to join our team of versatile storytellers and marketers who are professionally dedicated to their passions for food, wine, and travel.
During an internship at Wagstaff, you will gain skills and experience in the hospitality public relations and marketing fields by working with account teams in an agency setting. The internship focuses on being informative and aims to provide you with an opportunity to research, write and learn how Wagstaff operates.
You will get the chance to:
- Research and develop public relations story ideas, media opportunities, and new media outlets
- Study and compile up-to-date media lists and articles to share with the company
- Seek to identify trends in the industry and become familiar with the industry’s key media players by watching, reading, and listening to as many resources as possible
- Monitor and research media on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Assist account teams with editorial and writing projects
- The chance to participate in weekly brainstorms

Compensation:
This internship is unpaid; however, you will be given the chance to earn school accreditation and will receive signatures for any university course-related items. You will also be given a one-time hospitality allowance to enjoy a restaurant or hospitality-related experience. This will provide you with the opportunity to visit a location of your choice to work on a research project while enjoying and getting to know the establishment.
