We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Intermediate Representative, Shareholder Services
to join our UKTA Investor Services team. This role is located in Edinburgh, Midlothian, United Kingdom
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Supports professional and management staff by providing large quantities of data related to, among others, financial transactions, account information and transaction processing to be used in responses to more complicated client inquiries on a daily basis.
- Processes moderately complex updates to shareholder accounts.
- Under general supervision, assists professional and management staff by responding to phone, email and other inquiries regarding fund information, services and procedures.
- Responds to straightforward questions about shareholder accounts and provides more advanced technical assistance.
- Responses are fast, efficient and accurate. Investigates errors in shareholder accounts and statements.
- Routes issues that cannot be addressed at point of contact to appropriate team, in accordance with documented procedures.
- Reviews daily open items to ensure proper follow-up and closure.
- Assists junior colleagues in resolving outstanding issues. No direct reports.
- Provides guidance to less experienced staff.
- Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in financial services preferred.
