About the Role

The Talent Coordinator will assist the Talent Partner(s) in supporting the regions in a variety of areas, including recruitment, onboarding, and administration. You are someone who has a strong interest in recruitment and developing and progressing in the area of talent and human resources. In this hands-on hybrid-remote role, you will partner with the Global Talent team and hiring managers to provide accurate information, documentation, support and excellent customer service to applicants and staff.

What You’ll be Doing

  • General administration for various regions through all stages of the recruitment and employee cycle for candidates and staff.
  • Conduct recruitment planning meetings with hiring managers to discuss processes
  • Support the recruitment cycle including reviewing job descriptions, posting job advertisements, screening candidates, scheduling video and in-person interviews, organizing reference/background checks, and providing verbal and written offer letters
  • Support and organize employee onboarding documentation, verifications, and activities
  • Work with IT Department to arrange for required equipment and systems access
  • Create records, compile reports and ensure employee electronic files are up-to-date in the HRIS system (Workday)
  • Manage the Talent email inboxes and respond to support tickets
  • Provide employment verification and confirmation of service letters
  • Assist in employee off-boarding, including exit interviews
  • Track and follow up on employee immigration status’, visa and work permit expiries
  • Stay current with global legislative changes and evolving employment standards
  • Assist in enrolling new employees in applicable benefits program and payroll preparation for various regions as required
  • Participate in and support global projects as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

Must Have

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or similar
  • Minimum 2 years previous administrative experience within an HR department
  • General knowledge of employment laws and best practices
  • Excellent administration skills demonstrating accuracy, organization, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers and partners
  • Experience working in a busy and fast paced environment
  • A ‘can do’ attitude, along with energy and enthusiasm
  • Superb written and spoken English communication skills
  • The ability to demonstrate tact, diplomacy and discretion with sensitive information
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience working with Workday and Google applications
  • Strong understanding of a broad variety of jobs
  • Ability to recruit for all levels of the organization
  • Understanding of and an interest in the Travel Industry
