A Day in the Life
Under the guidance of the HR Generalist, you will assist with essential administrative HR functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. From coordinating recruitment activities to supporting employee engagement efforts, your role will be pivotal in creating a positive experience for both new and existing team members. Imagine being the friendly face that welcomes new employees during onboarding, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed from day one. You’ll also help maintain accurate employee records and assist with payroll tasks and benefits administration, making sure that employees receive the support they deserve.
In addition, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with organizational policies and employment laws. Whether it’s coordinating training sessions or organizing internal communications, your contributions will help foster a well-informed and engaged workforce. Your responsibilities will also extend to the offboarding process, ensuring departing employees leave with dignity and professionalism. Each task you take on will contribute to creating a workplace where every employee feels valued and empowered.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates with an associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, combined with at least one year of experience in an HR support or administrative role. If you have nonprofit experience, that’s a bonus! However, we are open to candidates with equivalent education and experience. An understanding of HR processes and employment laws, along with excellent organizational and communication skills, will set you up for success. Attention to detail and confidentiality are essential in this role, given the sensitive nature of HR work. We value proactive problem-solvers who can manage multiple priorities with independence and poise.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $25.50 to $28.50, based on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth within the organization. This position typically follows a Monday through Friday schedule. However, flexibility is required, as occasional work outside of core business hours or on weekends may be necessary to support critical projects or address emergencies.
