As the Aquatics Program Director, you will be responsible for organizing, monitoring, supervising, aquatics staff and maintaining the aquatic programs at the Y. You will also be responsible for training, organizing, monitoring, supervising and scheduling Managers on Duty. If hired for this position you will provide an impactful member experience by designing, implementing, and evaluating programs, activities and events open to all members.
If hired, some duties may include:
- Design, implement, and evaluate programs, activities, and events.
- Organize and schedule program registrations.
- Build quality relationships with members and provide leadership and hands-on instruction in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
- Coordinate use of facilities for program activities and events.

- You have a Bachelor’s degree and/or two years related knowledge and experience (preferred).
- You have experience in supervision, fiscal management, program development, staff and volunteer development.
- You have experience in planning, organizing, and implementing age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.
- You have demonstrated skills in customer service, public relations, organizational skills, communications, supervision, computer knowledge, and file maintenance.
- You have current Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, and Oxygen certifications.
- You are excited to assist the staff leadership team in reaching annual campaign goals through recruiting campaigners, making personal asks and supporting branch events.
- Able to complete Child Abuse Prevention on first day and other online or in-person training as required.
Starting Rate: $21.47+ per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
