The role: The Human Resources Manager serves as a conduit between Groups360’s management and their team. The HR Manager will be responsible for leading Human Resources best practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture, emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, and company standards. This position is responsible for ensuring that all human resources programs support the company’s long-term goals and will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the department, which includes, but is not limited to, team member development, customer service, regulatory compliance, and team member relations.

 

What you will do:

  • Oversee the development of new hire orientation for new team members ensuring an organizational understanding of company policies, procedures, benefits plans and other pertinent organizational information.
  • Partner with leadership to promote employee engagement, encourage organizational values and HR philosophies, and help build dynamic teams.
  • Coach, counsel, and guide managers with respect to team member disciplinary actions, organizational changes, and other related issues.
  • Conduct employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Analyze, develop, and conduct regular HR training programs for team members and leaders in collaboration with Vice President of Human Resources ensuring local, state, and international compliance.
  • Administer, maintain, and improve existing HR policies and programs; support the development and implementation of new strategies, policies, and programs, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on maintenance and revision of the company handbook, ensuring policies and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance with multi-state laws; develops, reviews and revises program policies and procedures as needed.
  • Spearhead safety programs, processes, and initiatives to comply with federal, state, and local employment laws; EEOC, EPA, COBRA, ACA, ACEA, ERISA, FLSA, OSHA requirements.
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for all team members and resolves any discrepancies with off-site PEO; complete reports for management as requested.
  • Manage leave, regulatory tracking, and applicable reporting.
  • Manage open enrollment period.
  • Communicate potential problem areas to leadership and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate.
  • Regularly review and identify opportunities for improvement of HR policies and programs to resolve problems, create positive employee satisfaction, and stay apprised of new developments, programs, methodologies, legalities & compliance.
  • Maintain contact with local peers to share ideas and concerns and understand global compliance perspectives.
  • Assist with the creation and administration of team member engagement plan; pulse surveys, retention rate evaluations, exit interviews etc.

 

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and global HR Experience a plus.
  • 5 + years of Human Resources experience
  • 3 + years of managing a team
  • Strong familiarity with HR disciplines, including performance management, talent development, talent acquisition, culture building, diversity and inclusion, and compensation required.
  • Strong familiarity with labor legislation, multi-state payroll procedures, EEO regulations, ACA and FLSA laws required.
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or SHRM-CP (certified professional) credential preferred.
  • Global HR experience a plus.

 

Additional eligibility qualifications:

  • Must have a proven ability to lead or co-lead projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and group communication and presentation skills; ability to utilize communication skills to effectively influence across functions and business units as well as across different leadership levels.
  • Excellent organizational & analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven and execution-oriented personality, ready to take ownership and get results.
  • Strong empathy for customers and a passion for revenue and growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Kit Cast, and Visio.
  • Other qualifications are required.

 

Core Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F, HYBRID; these hours may vary depending upon your position and work requirements.

 

Status: Exempt

 

Location: Brentwood, TN, HYBRID (3 days in-office, 2 day remote).
