This is fantastic opportunity for a highly effective administrator who is looking to develop their HR career. We are looking for a self-motivated, personable, enthusiastic person to join our busy HR team at Abingdon and Witney College. You will be supported by the HR Casework Team (Adviser, Manager and Head of HR), ensuring a consistent and pro-active approach to employee relations issues.
The role involves providing consistent and timely advice to employees and line managers, liaising with Occupational Health and other external bodies. It is also a requirement to keep accurate and up to date case notes and therefore attention to detail, organisation and professional communication skills are essential.
You will be expected to provide first line advice to employees on flexible working applications, informal stages of performance and attendance management, advise expectant parents on the Family Friendly policy, advising on Occupational Health referrals and annual health checks. You will also be required to manage the probation review process, training events/administration, conducting exit interviews as well as supporting with wellbeing projects. Ideally you will have previous experience or a CIPD qualification, although this is not essential and can be provided.
