£24.97 – £32.35 per hour, dependent on level of teaching qualification
2 hours per week
The working pattern is 9-11am on Monday mornings

An exciting and challenging opportunity to work with our Maths Team delivering Functional Skills Maths to our full-time study programme learners at both Level 1 and Entry Level 3 learners. This position is for multiple Hourly Paid Lectures to teach Maths at Abingdon from 9-11 on Monday mornings.
We are looking for vibrant and committed Hourly Paid Functional Skills Maths Lecturers with the ability to inspire students and maintain excellent working relationships with a variety of teams. You will demonstrate confidence in working with students of varying ability levels and project enthusiasm for this subject.
The right candidates will have an innovative, holistic assessment style that enables learners to develop within their roles and ensure learners demonstrate the competencies and behaviours allowing them to successfully complete their programme and be industry ready.
The successful candidate will have good communication and organisational skills, digital skills and preferably hold a degree or similar professional qualifications. A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, however if you are motivated to gain a teaching qualification, we can offer excellent training and support in gaining your AET Level 3 Qualification (Education & Training Qualification), within your first year of joining the College.
