Health, Safety and Environmental Leader
We are looking for a talented Health, Safety and Environmental Leader to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Distribution Business in Florida or Georgia.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
– Implement and sustain a positive health, safety and environmental culture through the application of the management systems framework in multiple sites.
– Establish short term and long term strategic plan for sites to foster continual HSE regulations and industry standards.
– Build relationships across functions to ensure driving a positive HSE culture.
– Lead hazard identification, environmental aspect identification and risk assessment programs.
– Lead an effective support model in various sites through training, skills development and internal communications.
– Coaches and develops direct reports and/or cross functional teams based on stakeholder feedback, observations, and succession plan needs.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
– College, university, or equivalent degree required. Health, Safety and/or Environmental degree preferred. Progress toward Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH or similar certification preferred.
– Minimum 3 years’ experience required, including experience in management of health, safety, and environmental ISO Standards
– Subject Matter Expert and knowledge of US Based HSE Regulations is required.
– This role supports locations in Florida and Georgia. Preferred location is Florida.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
