Starting Wage: $21.47+ per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Are you a fitness or health professional who is passionate about leading great programs? Do you love helping people meet their goals and want to be on the team of a cause-driven, wellness focused organization? As the health and well-being director, you will organize, monitor, supervise, and maintain health and well-being programs, with an emphasis on multiple group fitness disciplines and the virtual experience.
If hired for this position you will provide an impactful member experience by developing, coordinating, and providing administrative support for the health and well-being department at the community center. You will also supervise department staff and their functions to ensure quality programs. In this position you will assist in managing the day to day operations of the health and well-being department. You will maintain quality programming and creating an excellent member experience by building authentic relationships that engage, inspire and build commitment to the Y cause.

Are you a good fit?
- You are committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree and/or two years related knowledge and experience that includes supervision, fiscal management, program development, staff and volunteer development.
- You have experience in creating, implementing, and instructing classes and programming for multiple disciplines and virtual classes.
- You have knowledge of current health and well-being safety and program standards, latest trends in the industry and the ability to articulate and incorporate them.
- You have current CPR, AED, First Aid, and Oxygen certifications.
- You are able to set an excellent example in health, fitness and member service.
- You are excited to assist the staff leadership team in reaching annual campaign goals through recruiting campaigners, making personal asks and supporting branch events.
