Do you want to take your love for gymnastics to the next level? At the Y you can provide a quality gymnastics experience to children and parents while having fun and promoting the Y’s core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. As the gymnastics director, you will develop, coordinate and maintain the gymnastics program.
If hired for this position, you will design, implement, and evaluate programs, activities, and events. You will build relationships, instill confidence, and provide opportunities for growth and improvement for all staff and participants. You will plan curriculums and coordinate class schedules in conjunction with other staff and programs to enhance participation levels while meeting the goals and objectives of the YMCA gymnastics program. Through your leadership, instruction, and motivation you will ensure members experience high quality gymnastics programs that build strong youth and families.

Are you a good fit?
- You are committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 years’ experience working in a gymnastics setting.
- You have experience recruiting and supervising staff and volunteers.
- You have knowledge of current gymnastic safety and program standards and the ability to incorporate those into programs.
- You have experience in and demonstrated knowledge of current gymnastics skills and safety standards, supervision, budgeting and coordinating programs.
- You have skills in customer service, public relations, organizational skills, communications, supervision, computer knowledge, and file maintenance.
- You hold a current USAG Safety Certification, CPRO, AED, Oxygen, First Aid, Lifeguarding (or have the ability to acquire within first 30-days of employment).
