SUMMARY
Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of Black Knight’s Enterprise Automation and Integration Solutions GoAnywhere and ESP Scheduler.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Defines and discerns key aspects of problems that require analysis and research, and develops an integrated solution within a broad technical and business context of significant or strategic impact to the enterprise.
- Modifies and/or debugs utilities and packages.
- Modifies, installs and prepares technical documentation for system software applications.
- Takes requirements to then build or transfer files, run executables, and move items into different domains.
- Troubleshoots fail processes (i.e. termination lists)
- Diagnoses, isolates and de-bugs software problems and performs problem resolution.
- Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures, and provides Tier 2 technical support.
- Works on multiple products, projects and activities as a project team member, and occasionally as a project team leader.
- Works on varied and complex tasks, projects, activities or support issues that require in-depth skill in multiple technical environments, knowledge in one or more specific business areas and expertise in multiple products/systems.
- Defines and discerns key aspects of problems that require analysis and research, and develops a solution within a broad technical and business context of significant impact to one or more business segments.
- Develops solutions requiring complex analysis and research.
- May require rotating 24×7 on-call support responsibility as well as weekend support.
- Performs other duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
- 6+ years of experience in systems administration and programming
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with GoAnywhere or other Managed File Transfer Systems (MFT)
- Experience and proficiency in software development and scripting with technologies such as .NET, Visual Studio, SQL, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, VB Script, and Batch Scripting
- Proficiency in Microsoft stack (Visual studio, C#, .NET Core, SQL, REST APIs)
- Experience working with job scheduler tools such as CA (CA7), ESP, etc.
- Working knowledge with all platforms (Windows, Unix, Linux, mainframe z/OS)
- Experience with web integration protocols (REST or SOAP)
- Familiarity in Cloud Technologies (AWS Technologies, Amazon S3 Storage)
- Experience with SFTP / Key Auth
- Knowledge of Black Knight business environment and the application development environment
- Possesses a general understanding of systems programming, graphical user interfaces and control languages.
- Experience building and supporting applications
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop partnership-oriented relationships with business executives and functional leaders, especially as it relates to operations and technology
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike
- Experience with project management
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within Black Knight or outside the organization (executives, regulators, clients, etc.)
- Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units
The target pay range for this position typically starts at $85,280 – $116,480.
Black Knight carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, specialty, experience, and work location. The base salary (exempt) or hourly rate (non-exempt) is just one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including potential bonus or commission eligibility, insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability), matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
