DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Global Logistics Director to join our team specializing in global logistics strategy and execution for our Filtration business, which is based in Nashville, TN. This role can be performed from your home office and will require travel.

The Global Logistics Director will be responsible for the global distribution network in support of customer satisfaction and sales growth. They will define the strategy for warehousing and transportation globally including, all forms of transportation, warehouse locations and capacity utilization along with the day to day KPI’s of owned and 3PL resources to support the business strategy.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Define the strategy for global distribution including where it is stored and how it is transported to meet diverse global customer needs.
• Manage contracts for 3PL warehouses and all types of freight globally.
• Owns key performance indicators of the warehouses and transport providers – safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Directs, manages and leads a team to ensure speed, dependability and efficiency in logistics operations.
• Ensures internal and external customers’ expectations and requirements are met while ensuring supply chain optimization.
• Standardize continuous improvement and best practice implementation for global processes.
• Ensures capacity is continually available across the network.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Demonstrated success in building out and standing up a global network of warehouse and transportation (all modes) providers for an aftermarket/automotive, retail organization or 3PL preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25-35%.
• Systems savvy – warehouse and transportation management systems & trade compliance systems expertise.
• Manage complexity – making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve global problems.

Education/Experience
• Bachelor in applicable field, MBA preferred.
• An understanding of Customs compliance and packaging would also be beneficial.
• Experience in major global markets – North America, Europe, Asia & South America

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: 150K – 175K

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
