We are currently looking for a Gas Engineer Install / Breakdown to join Sovini Property Services, part of The Sovini Group.

As a Gas Engineer Install / Breakdown, you will be expected to:
- Carry out repairs and maintenance to customer homes in a safe and proper manner, ensuring works are completed to a consistently high standard in addition to providing our customers with their best experience of customer service.
- Provide an efficient and effective service as a member of the Gas Compliance team, creating an environment that is enjoyable to work in, and to include colleagues, both trade and office staff, as part of your team.

- Adhere with the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
To be successful in a gas engineer install / breakdown role, the skills you will need:
- To be Gas Safe Registered (CCN 1, CPA 1, CEN/WAT, HTR1)
- Able to complete gas documentation i.e. LGSR’s on PDA device.
- Experience working in repairs and maintenance in housing services.
- Experience of working in a building environment and completing repair work in occupied homes.
- Extensive proven experience of repairs and maintenance, particularly breakdowns.
- A knowledge of relevant legislation and/or Codes of Practice i.e. Construction, Building Regulations and Health & Safety.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with home owners, external agencies and office based colleagues.
- Able to plan and prioritise to ensure the effective use of own time.
- Commitment to providing a high quality service to all customers.
- Able to form & maintain good working relationships at all levels, internal & externally.
- Sound Practical knowledge and experience of gas works.

- To be part of a call out team as and when required as per a rota.
- Excellent communication skills, possessing the ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the Organisation across multiple communication channels including Teams and face-to-face.
- Ability to use Microsoft office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to work in an agile working environment.
- Team player with the ability to work off own initiative.

Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:
- Familiar with PDA and other electronic devices
