We are recruiting a full time Team Manager to join our dynamic Futures Together Criminal Justice team (formerly the Full Circle service) within the County of Essex. You will support to deliver a highly performing service that works with adults within the criminal justice system with multiple and complex needs. Our team of experienced staff help adults with a range of needs including substance/alcohol use, learning difficulties and/or mental health to improve their outcomes and reduce reoffending. The post is permanent and primarily based in the Colchester area but will require occasional travel across the county.
As a Team Manager, you will work to support the service to deliver its outcomes and targets. You will supervise staff in order to maintain a high standard for our service users, ensuring that any concerns relating to safeguarding and risk are appropriately managed as well as ensuring that adequate data is collected and reported on. You will represent the service across the County and will build excellent working relationships with our many partners.
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
- Be passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support.
- Have experience of working as part of a team and supporting staff in a supervisory capacity.
- Evidence excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Evidence managing a busy caseload and excellent organisational skills.
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel and be familiar with relevant database management systems.
- Have relevant experience of work in the field of problematic substance use, mental health, justice or another comparable field.

- Starting salary of £27,000 – £28,000 with opportunity to access potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal, meaning potential salary increase up to £31,750 over 5 years.
