The Brain Charity offers emotional support, practical help and social activities to anyone with a neurological condition and to their family, friends and carers.
There are hundreds of different neurological conditions including stroke, brain tumour, brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease and many rarer conditions.
Role summary
The overall purpose of the role of Fundraising Assistant is to bring about tangible and positive change to the lives of people with neurological conditions by raising funds to support the charity’s work. This includes:
- Generating charitable income from trusts and foundations by researching funding opportunities and writing compelling funding applications.
- Supporting the wider fundraising team with data collection and administration to ensure all fundraisers and donors are stewarded and thanked appropriately and that new opportunities are logged promptly.
