Full-Time Fuel Cell Mobility Product Development Engineer – 200000XC

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Fuel Cell Mobility Product Development Engineer to join our team specializing in fuel cell power systems technology for our #NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Lead design and development of novel fuel cell and hybrid systems architectures primarily related to mobility applications.

* Develop and manages design documentation for mobility fuel cell products in a team environment (electrical and electronics schematics, P&ID diagrams, bills of material, technical specifications, etc.).

* Responsible for all aspects of product design, engineering, and testing/validation by working with cross-functional teams.

* Lead fuel cell system (product-specific) electro-mechanical component specification and integration efforts.

* Perform validation of new electro-mechanical components and subsystems as part of continuous improvement process.

 

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electrical engineering or related discipline.

* Minimum three to five years of experience in developing and reading electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and software state diagrams.

* Strong hands-on experience in design and development of electro-mechanical or mechatronic systems and components.

* Working knowledge of, and an interest in hybrid electrical systems.

* Strong analytical skills in broad engineering disciplines (electrical systems, fluid dynamics and heat transfer, process control, etc.)
