We are currently hiring for the position of:
FINANCIAL ANALYST
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, the Financial Analyst acts as the financial liaison for all internal departments, prepares reports and supports areas of budgeting/forecasting and payroll, as well as other financial reporting requirements of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall include but not limited to the following:
- Manage the reporting infrastructure relating to budgeting and forecasting.
- Facilitate department forecast meetings.
- Oversee the adjustments and forecast change process as it relates to department forecast meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, interim & final reports to support government and other philanthropic funding.
- Provide bi-weekly support for payroll processing and acting backup to the payroll function.
- Provide ad hoc business and financial reporting, to support TIFF’s CFO, Board and Finance & Audit Committee.
- Support TIFF’s Annual Budget process.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB GRADE & SALARY
- Job Grade 3
- MINIMUM: 60,000/Yearly
TARGET START DATE:
- June 6, 2022
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a financial reporting or budgeting capacity.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
- Experience with business analysis and budgeting/forecasting.
- Proficiency in MS-Excel, MS-Word, and Google Suite.
- Experience working in a non-profit or arts organization is considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- This position requires being in office on a regular basis, aligning with our Flexible Work from Home Policy.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
