We are currently hiring for the position of:


Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, the Financial Analyst acts as the financial liaison for all internal departments, prepares reports and supports areas of budgeting/forecasting and payroll, as well as other financial reporting requirements of the organization.


Shall include but not limited to the following:

  • Manage the reporting infrastructure relating to budgeting and forecasting.
  • Facilitate department forecast meetings.
  • Oversee the adjustments and forecast change process as it relates to department forecast meetings.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, interim & final reports to support government and other philanthropic funding.
  • Provide bi-weekly support for payroll processing and acting backup to the payroll function.
  • Provide ad hoc business and financial reporting, to support TIFF’s CFO, Board and Finance & Audit Committee.   
  • Support TIFF’s Annual Budget process.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Job Grade 3
  • MINIMUM: 60,000/Yearly


  • June  6, 2022 


  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a financial reporting or budgeting capacity.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience with business analysis and budgeting/forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS-Excel, MS-Word, and Google Suite.
  • Experience working in a non-profit or arts organization is considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • This position requires being in office on a regular basis, aligning with our Flexible Work from Home Policy.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
