Full-Time Facilities Coordinator

If this sounds like you, keep reading.The on-site position is responsible for ensuring that our Denver gym and office facility is open and functioning optimally during normal operating hours. As the Denver point-person for participants, staff, and vendors, this individual will coordinate event logistics, oversee maintenance tasks, and own administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, outstanding reliability, and a talent for juggling numerous moving pieces. If you’re excited about working in a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced environment that promotes personal and professional growth, we want to talk to you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that our Denver office and gym spaces are presentable, functional, and welcoming, coordinating with maintenance professionals as needed
  • Work front desk and greet participants
  • Execute administrative functions of the Denver chapter
  • Monitor facility inventories, order supplies, and communicate with vendors
  • Coordinate event logistics with local partners
  • Act as liaison between construction contractors and staff during upcoming remodel project
  • Engage in supplementary activities such as facilitating social or fitness activities, conducting tours, and engaging with donors
  • Work on-site at our Denver facility (including periodic weekend and evening hours)
  • Handle after-hours requests approximately 10% of the time
  • Complete other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional reliability
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to prioritize and pivot quickly
  • Confidence communicating effectively with people from all walks of life
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

PREFERENCES

  • Lived experience as a peer in recovery
  • Experience working with vendor agreements
  • Basic handyperson skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Background in stewarding public spaces and engaging in de-escalation practices when needed
  • Experience leading fitness or social activities
