Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team specializing in Environment for our Corporate Organization in Columbus, IN / your remote home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Leading multiple on-highway VPI projects globally for supply chain compliance data collection, and track supply chain performance against performance goals and timeline to meet regulatory requirements.
• Influence business-area leadership decisions
• Integrate and execute compliance processes to new business supply chain for on-highway products.
• Customers to meet their restricted substances compliance requirements against GDASL standard and the ELV directive.
• Support Cummins growing sustainability needs as they relate compliance and Cummins Destination Zero/P2050 goals
• Manage globally substance elimination from current product
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6 years minimum experience in managing supply chain data collection and chemical regulations compliance.
• Strong understanding of chemical regulations impacting Cummins’ products and businesses
• Understanding of supply chain data collection tools like IMDS and CDX.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
