Job Description
Starting Wage: $13.69+ per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
This is a hybrid position with the expectation of some work from home and some work at the office.

Would you like to provide excellent customer service to members and guests who call the YMCA? As the Engagement Representative, you will engage members and guests, in a branch and over the phone, in order to respond to needs and promote information on membership and programs.
In this position you will be able to use your skills to:
- Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
- Present accurate membership information to potential and existing members. Explain the benefits of YMCA membership and its programs.
- Demonstrate full competency with the Customer Relationship Management system to include proper enrollment, update, and cancellation processing and receiving membership, program, childcare, camp, and child watch payments.
- Follow membership policies and guidelines. Process new memberships, update current memberships, and register members for programs and services, as needed.
- Understand financial assistance process and accurately help to identify eligibility.
- Provide a highly satisfying member experience and engage members in programs.

- You have at least two years of experience in customer service, public relations, and organization.
- You have excellent written and oral skills.
- You have a positive attitude and previous experience with diverse populations.
- You have working knowledge of computers, office equipment, and cash handling.
- Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
