Job Description
We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team specializing in Controls development for our Power System in Minneapolis, MN /and remote office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Leverage MathWorks (i.e. Matlab/Simulink) toolchain to create models used in software for Power Systems products (Generators, Transfer Switches, Inverters, and Grid/Paralleling controls)
• Make decisions in the areas of software architecture, design, & implementation that impact the performance of the product
• Influence technical direction within a project team including review of less-experienced developers/testers’ work to ensure efficient design.
• Interfaces with suppliers and development teams to ensure all technical content delivered meets customer deliverables.
• Utilize troubleshooting tools and methodologies (7-step, iDFMEA, Oscilloscopes, debuggers, etc..) to resolve product issues.
• Lead technical coordination of product development activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related technical disciplines is required.
• Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent Controls development experience in a relevant product area.
• Demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Achieves results, even under tough circumstances.
• Experience managing ambiguity to consistently keep the organization moving forward
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
