DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented EBU System Performance Team Lead to join our team!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• This dual applied science/product systems focused position utilizes the core competencies of thermal and fluid sciences in the specialized areas of combustion and emissions science, using and advancing analytical and experimental approaches to answer key questions about the performance and architecture of a system or component.
• This drives decisions and creates technical content which ultimately leads to state of the art, highly effective, environmentally friendly, and competitive products.
• This role will be responsible to support multiple platform teams and VPI programs by providing robust feature (performance and diagnostic) tuning calibrations and appropriate documentation to demonstrate compliance to applicable ESWs, technical profiles, related DVP&R tasks.
• This position will have multiple direct reports offering a chance to demonstrate leadership experience with a small team to achieve our DOC-DPF deliverables. Hence, this role will spend majority of time tracking and acting on program specific hardware, software, diagnostics changes and test cell/vehicle testing planning within the program milestones, with some player responsibility to tackle difficult technical issues that direct reports needs assistance on.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent Bachelors degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
• Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.
• Additional Skills: Matlab/Simulink required, AVL Boost Software and Controls integration and simulation environment Experience is highly recognized.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
