Full-Time EBU System Performance Group Leader

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Sensor Performance Group Leader to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Engine Business in Columbus, IN.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.

* This role will be responsible to support multiple VPI programs by providing robust feature (performance and diagnostic) tuning calibrations and appropriate documentation to demonstrate compliance to applicable ESWs / technical profiles/ related DVP&R tasks.

* This posted position will be primarily responsible for tuning and validating aftertreatment component diagnostics. In this process, it is expected to utilize Matlab/Simulink-based tools to analyze data and develop calibration content as well as to provide clear and detailed presentations to Diagnostics Subject Matter Experts and Project Leads.

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Ability to relocate to the Columbus, IN market in the fall, 2021

* Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering

* 6+ years of experience in system performance, or controls or diagnostics (OBD) development

* Matlab/Simulink experience is required for this position

* Experience in OBD diagnostics

* Presentation skills, collaborative and prior leadership/mentoring experience desired

* Ability to routinely work in a hands-on manner and under limited supervision

* Ability to support and drive technical documentation work and simulation-based product development

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications

This is a group leader position. An individual in this role will have the opportunity to lead and work cross-functionally with PC&RA,SPI, CPE, and CES teams.
