Full-Time Director of Fund Development
Job Description
ABOUT THE POSITION: The role of the Director of Fund Development is responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies and programs to meet the fund development goals in support of Compass Housing Alliance. The Director will oversee the daily operations of the department, including staff management, plan development, donor stewardship activities, and more.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Fund Development department plans, organizes, and directs fundraising campaigns including the major gifts program, planned giving, special events, and capital campaigns. The department manages all agency volunteers as well as monetary and in-kind donations.

LOCATION: South Lake Union in downtown Seattle, WA
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
SCHEDULE: Weekdays with evenings and weekends as needed
SALARY RANGE: DOE and within Compass ranges

QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s degree preferred in relevant field, fundraising certificate and/or equivalent related continuing professional development or education.
6-8 years of experience working in fund development at a non-profit organization.
Familiarity with issues of homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, sexual assault, and/or domestic violence, desired.
Or relevant work experience, certificate and/or equivalent continuing professional development or education.
