Full-Time Director of Facilities
Job Description
The Director of Facilities is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as the central University facilities management team. The Director provides management and leadership for facilities planning and decision-making for the School. Responsibilities include all aspects of planning, design, construction project management, allocation of space, space utilization, and management of space information systems. The Director is required to resolve issues and drive continuous process improvement and team development.
This position:
* Provides a safe, clean, well-maintained environment for the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, across multiple buildings and facilities, including lab space.
* Provides project management, support, oversight, coordination, budget development and management, and supervision of repairs, maintenance, construction, renovation, and related projects.
* Develops and/or assists in the creation of plans for construction and renovation projects, maintenance, safety, and facility staffing needs.
* Supervises staff, leads work teams, participates in planning, and oversees the work of contractors in a variety of trades.
* Leads and manages multiple operations support services, including telecommunications, copiers, surplus, and recycling.
* Serves as access coordinator and security advisor for building access and security systems.
* Advises on safety regulations and practices.
* Maintains records and documentation, and analyzes data for allocating resources and decision-making.
Salary : $46,782 – $64,940
