In this role, you will lead the creation and delivery of Groupon’s integrated digital marketing plan that supports Groupon’s strategic objectives, highlights exciting supply and inspires customers to discover their next adventure. Using performance and consumer insights, you will shape a plan that delivers business results, adjusting and optimizing campaigns, messaging and promotional tactics and recommended channel approaches in response to performance.
The role necessitates a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and leadership across multiple teams including Marketing Channels, Brand, Revenue Management, Merchandising, Creative, and Sales. You must be able to flex between high-level strategic thinking and overseeing the tactical implementation of the planning process, ensuring campaigns effectively come to life across all digital channels.
The ideal candidate is experienced in creating, implementing, measuring and optimizing high-performing, insights-guided, digital marketing plans and is passionate about delivering compelling, cohesive brand experiences to consumers. The position requires a dynamic and collaborative digital marketing expert who is able to influence upwards, across and down to get others aligned and rallied around delivering aligned plans that deliver business results. The ideal candidate has experience working in an integrated creative agency, an ecommerce business or a high-profile brand.

You’ll be spending your time on:
- Drive the integrated marketing planning process: synthesize consumer insights, industry trends, and supply, category and purchaser data to shape campaigns and promotions that drive consumer engagement, support strategic goals and deliver performance results (e.g. purchasers, revenue)
- Drive continuous optimization of the marketing plan in reaction to business performance
- Lead, coach and develop a small team of marketing professionals
- Drive continual improvement to how we work with supply and channel teams
- Communicate and align on the marketing plan with senior leaders
We’re excited about you if you have:
- +12 years of business experience with substantial marketing experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or similar; MBA preferred
- Experience developing insights-led, results driving integrated marketing strategies
- Experience planning and executing/overseeing campaign delivery across digital marketing channels
- Transactional Commerce experience i.e. working on a brand where measurement includes driving customer transactions, as well as improving brand metrics
- The ability to measure the return on investment of marketing efforts and investment and communicate the impact
- Collaborative leadership experience and management skills that help drive the success of the team
