Temporary Direct Mail Coordinator (2024 Election Cycle)
Job Description
You will be responsible for:
- Achieving clients’ fundraising and engagement goals;
- Providing top-quality customer service to clients, including attending client meetings and supporting the day-to-day management of client relationships and satisfaction;
- Learning about and supporting direct mail fundraising and communications strategies, including the design and management of communications calendars;
- Supporting in the analyzing and reporting of data for campaigns to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies;
- Leading in the execution of tasks following team meetings; and
- Working with client teams, including data and creative, to assist in managing resources and project timelines, developing creative concepts, and analyzing list acquisition data for new prospecting opportunities.
Must-have qualifications:
- Up to three years of general work experience, including past internships and part-time work;
- Discipline to read carefully, think critically, and strive for perfection;
- Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented mindset, and ability to follow through;
- Ability to work up and down skills sets with a focus on the execution of the day-to-day tasks and overall management of these;
- Passion and excitement for progressive politics;
- Excellent quantitative reasoning skills and ability to apply data to strategic decisions;
- Strong writing and editing skills;
- Ability to juggle and multitask on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment;
- Willingness to take initiative and use good judgment to resolve issues; and
- Ability to collaborate on a team both internally and externally.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Background in direct mail communications, fundraising and/or marketing;
- Client management experience; and
- Experience with a political campaign or interactive marketing company.
