As the Digital Marketing Specialist at ACE, you will play a critical role in telling the story of ACE through digital marketing initiatives. You will directly support student recruitment efforts, drive enrollment growth and create brand awareness.  You will have the opportunity to work on projects across the recruitment lifecycle and support the entire enrollment funnel through digital marketing initiatives.  You will work directly on campaigns while also helping to coordinate external efforts through our digital vendors.  This position supports our website marketing initiatives through conversion rate optimization strategies and helping to develop insights across channels including paid, organic and direct sources.

Day to Day Responsibilities
In this role you will wear different hats, but your skills will be especially essential in the following areas:

  • Works closely with VP of Digital Marketing to translate department strategies into digital tactics and execution. This would involve search marketing, paid social media, display, and video (YouTube and Connected TV).
  • Coordinates with our digital marketing vendor(s) and be a liaison to the internal team in optimizing our brand awareness and digital marketing roadmap.
  • Collaborates with a cross-functional team to ideate marketing optimization opportunities, new channels to test, content to utilize in paid campaigns, and other cross-department opportunities.
  • Organizes and structures performance-related data from a variety of sources (paid media, social platforms, web analytics solutions, 3rd party data providers).
  • Monitors digital marketing trends from competitors within the higher education vertical.
  • Manages and reports on multiple marketing campaigns through online platforms.
  • Creates weekly and monthly reports on digital efforts and provides insights and recommendations to improve performance.
  • Analyzes digital traffic patterns, metrics, and KPIs to determine the effectiveness of campaigns, advertising and communication programs.
  • Identifies areas for conversion rate optimization and designs test experiments.
  • Supports the development of new and existing landing pages on the website.
  • Monitors and improves conversion rates through CRO best practices and strategies.
  • Injects brand identity and storytelling into the creation and development of new ads (copy, content), experiments, and landing pages.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing best practices, and their interplay with other marketing tactics; ability to define and translate strategy to execution in digital environments.
  • Experience across diverse digital channels, including paid social, paid search for brand awareness and direct response.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience running paid social (LinkedIn, Facebook) and paid search (Google Ads platforms – Search, Display, YouTube).
  • Results-oriented and Data-driven, with an understanding for core KPIs for digital initiatives.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
