Full-Time Digital Content Producer
Job Description
British Swimming is seeking a Digital Content Producer to join our Events, Marketing & Communications team, reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing, as we head into the excitement of Paralympic and Olympic year in 2024.
The primary purpose of the position is to take a leading role in creating engaging video and digital content, telling the stories of our athletes in a way that will best engage with British Swimming’s fanbase and followers across all platforms.
Working collaboratively with the rest of the Marketing & Communications team, the individual will show innovation across the entire content creation process, from formulating ideas and briefs to the filming and production of video pieces, ranging from light-hearted social media content and behind-the-scenes access clips to more in-depth, impactful features and insight.
The person in this role will also be responsible for graphics concepts, management of a content calendar and ultimately helping us to take the promotion of our world-class athletes and teams to the next level at a time of unprecedented success across the aquatic disciplines. For this reason, previous experience in a content creation environment, and working with editing software, is essential.
This role will involve regular trips to training centres and events across the country, collaborating with athletes, staff and external stakeholders.
With the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games less than a year away – and a multitude of other exciting events and opportunities on the horizon – this is a great time to join a National Governing Body and work within such a motivated team.
