Job Description
REPORTS TO: Associate Director, Development Analytics
STATUS: Full-time, non-exempt

We are searching for a Development Services Coordinator to be responsible for accurate and timely processing of all Development department revenue transactions and the administration of acknowledgements for all contributions. This position is important because of its wide range of implications, including financial results, customer service, and Tessitura issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate leadership in accordance with Lyric’s mission and
- Process in a timely and accurate manner all Development department revenue transactions in Tessitura, including but not limited to: donations, pledges, payment schedules, matching gifts, membership dues, special event admissions, sponsorships, and in-kind This may involve working on-site at Lyric under the guidance of the Lyric Safety Committee.
- Enter and track numerous data elements for each entry, including campaign, fund, membership level, appeal, benefit status, and custom Monitor all data elements for 100% accuracy due to the wide range of implications.
- Process all “non-routine” entries, including credits, adjustments, transfer of revenue to/from other departments, and write-offs.
- Review and post the daily batch reports and prepare the department’s Daily Identify and resolve any discrepancies noted on the reports.
- Prepare, generate, and personalize acknowledgement letters for each contribution (calculating and including the correct tax-deductions as necessary). Personalized letters are signed by the Chief Development Officer. Additional personalized letters are prepared for and signed by the General Director, President &
- Maintain Tessitura donor account database including identifying information, membership level, program listing preference, constituencies, attributes, and special notations for the use of all Coordinate membership records to make sure they accurately reflect donors’ contributions, benefit levels, and recognition.
- Assist with donor research and updates (addresses, birthdays, obituaries, family relations, ) utilizing programs such as LexisNexis and DonorScape and additional Internet tools.
- Respond to Development staff reporting inquiries regarding patron gift history and memberships; campaign/fund reporting; and payment type history (G/S, DAFs, etc.).
- Assist with the annual IRS Maintain written documentation requirements for all contributions with Development staff. Provide contribution confirmation/backup as necessary to the Finance Department on a timely basis to ensure compliance.
- Assist in preparation of donor listings, commemorative gift pages, and special event/activity recognition lists for the Annual Report, season programs, website and other Use Proof HQ (periodically) to edit donor listings and levels in the season program for the initial proof and the galleys in conjunction with the Associate Director, Development Analytics.
- Provide superior customer service to donors wishing to make contributions by telephone and/or inquiring about the status of their donations, tax deductibility and
- Maintain accurate files of Donor Records
- Process all Graham Room payments to the Navision
- Update Donor Records handbook and training information as it
- Monitor supplies and documents necessary for completion of Donor Records work; order or inform appropriate staff when additional items are
- Attend and assist at department events, such as Opening Night/Opera Ball, Wine Auction, Spring Musical Celebration, dress rehearsals, as assigned; assist with other department initiatives or projects as requested.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or
- Prior experience working with Tessitura’s contribution processing module
