Delivery Manager – Remote Working – Contract Until the end of March – £475 Per Day

The Opportunity
Yolk Recruitment is proud to be an exclusive recruitment partner for an arm’s length body of the Welsh Government to recruit a Delivery Manager who can support them in the creation of a Knowledge Hub for use by the public sector in Wales. The Knowledge Hub will help clarify and easily share technical and service design standards across the Welsh public sector.

They do meaningful work which positively impacts the lives of everyone living in Wales through digital transformation, ensuring services meet the needs of the people who use them, developing skills and digital talent and sharing best practice.

What the Delivery Manager will be doing
You will be working with local government organisations to help deliver their Knowledge Hub initiative – helping to clarify standards across the public sector.

Organise and lead the project working with internal and external team members
Ability to work iteratively in a user focussed way
Guide and lead the project team in a collaborative way
Strong communication skills to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Work in flexible agile ways, depending on the needs of the organisation

What the successful Delivery Manager will bring to the team
You will have experience leading and facilitating projects in agile or near-agile ways. You will also have an understanding of User Centred Design and the benefits.

You will have a good understanding of User Centred Design and its benefits
You will have experience leading and facilitating project delivery
A collaborative approach to working with strong communication skills
Experience running workshops and Agile ceremonies
Experience managing internal and external teams
