Job Description
Delivery Manager
Salary: £39,000 – £47,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Wales. Remote but will be expected to attend some in person meetings.
Term: This is a permanent role for the remainder of this Senedd term (until 2026) with an option to extend in future.

The role
Delivery managers at CDPS work at the heart of teams to provide direction and ensure they have the right environment to deliver their products and services in an iterative way.
You’ll be accountable for stuff getting done, motivating and supporting teams, and removing blockers.
You’ll have a deep understanding of Agile and lean practices and use your own judgement to decide on appropriate tools and techniques.
You’ll be adept at delivering complex digital projects, breaking down barriers for our teams and planning – both at a higher level and getting into the detail when needed.
You’ll be at the core of the decisions the team makes and create an environment where they’re excited about their work.
You’ll be part of the wider community of product and delivery managers at CDPS who deliver skills and capability training, masterclasses and community events.

- actively participating in the delivery and product community, sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge and bringing in best practice

Research shows that, while men apply for jobs where they meet 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalised people tend only to apply when they check every box. So, if you think you have what it takes, but don’t necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch. We’d love to have a chat and see if you’d be a good fit.
We are passionate about creating a diverse workforce and positively encourage applications from under-represented communities. We embrace equality of opportunity irrespective of disability, neurodivergence, ethnic origin, colour, nationality, gender and gender presentation, marital status, sexual orientation, culture or religion.
