DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Database Operations Leader to join our team Lead a technically strong IT Database Operations team responsible for infrastructure build, configuration, and 24x7x365 run support of global databases and mission critical end-user applications. This position can be based in Nashville TN, or Columbus IN or be FULLY REMOTE in the United States.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Lead key modernization projects to deliver reliable, cost effective solutions to improve the employee experience.
• Translation of business issues and requirements into clear objectives which database administrators and support analysts can solve.
• Retirement of obsolete technologies and streamline people, process and tools to achieve lower cost of ownership.
• Provide strategic direction with a forward-looking mindset and champion modern technology solutions aligning with our cloud-first strategy.
• Balances stakeholders – Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• 6-10 years of relevant experience required, strong database administration knowledge coupled with cloud technologies experience
• Successful at collaboration, team building, and strong partnerships at all levels of the IT organization accelerating delivery of database capabilities, ensuring delivered services meet cost, quality and targets.
• Strong knowledge of native cloud-based database services, a plus.
• College, University, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business
or a related subject required
Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
