We are looking for a talented Cost Analyst to join our team specializing in Finance Function for our Corporate Organization in Neillsville, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Responsible for conducting cost analysis to support management in making operating decisions.
• Run monthly cost updates and/or prepares standard cost data including annual cost role up.
• Maintain cost master; creates and maintains costing for new items.
• Develop and conducts basic cost audits and cost analysis.
• Analyze cost variances (IPV (Invoice Price Variance/PPV (Purchase Price Variance) and monthly movements), determines root causes, and prepares recommendations and alternatives for improvements for review by supervisor.
• Identify data analysis needs, and works with appropriate departments to obtain the data on a regular basis.
• Prepare analysis and drafts presentation materials for review by supervisor.
• Assist in the inventory valuation process.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field or studying for accounting entry qualifications.
• Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
• Prepare month end Inventory reconciliations and prepare and review reconciliations in ARM system.
• Support month end random Cycle count observations
• Prepare Journal entries as part of the month end close process.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
