DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a talented Technical Specialist to join our team. This role is based in Columbus, IN and offers a hybrid schedule.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Design and Application of Digital Electronics
• Creating electrical system or electronics-based design or architecture concepts through specific knowledge of electrified (or electrical-based) systems to ensure effective system design
• Mitigating potential product failure modes, by identifying interfaces, functions, functional requirements, interactions, control factors, noise factors, and prioritized potential failure modes and potential failure causes
• Solving product problems using a process that protects the customer, determining the assignable cause and implementing robust, data-based solutions

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s or Post-graduate (Master’s) degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Senior or Lead Engineer in a relevant discipline area is required
• Experienced with the design and development of power electronics products, automotive electronics design practices and procedures, and the development of detailed project plans and quotes
• Experienced in all aspects of electronic hardware product development, including: component selection, schematic capture, worst case analysis, circuit simulation, circuit board layout, and product validation.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
