JOB DESCRIPTION
The Compliance & Sales Administrator role in Spire Maritime is responsible to continuously build synergies between Spire Maritime’s departments and the Legal/Compliance and Finance Teams. This is an opportunity to start building and formalizing processes between business units and help further scale a growing business.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF YOUR ROLE:
- Coordination between sales, legal and finance (with emphasis on compliance)
- Support organization, administration and management of CRM (HubSpot)
- Identify process gaps and help to improve compliance processes
- Exceptional communication/stakeholder management skills (work together with sales and with legal/compliance)
- Execute on day-to-day sales administration tasks
- Serve as an escalation point when needed to help move deals forward
- Liaise with the compliance/legal team on customer onboarding/third party onboarding and screening checks
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MIGHT INCLUDE:
- Assist marketing teams in determining customer outreach methods
- Monitor and assist with customer retention
- Train staff on new technology and software
- Assist with account management
- Forecasting, reporting and analysis; commercial KPI reporting, designing dashboards, automate reporting
- Continuously find ways to improve team collaboration and processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS Degree
- 1+ year working experience with compliance, or direct experience with a Legal team in charge of compliance
- Experience working with CRM Systems (HubSpot is a plus)
- Self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience of working in a compliance focused environment would be desirable i.e. you understand the importance of compliance processes
- Knowledge or exposure to agents/distribution sales channels would be a plus
- The person should be robust, able to work in a high-pressure environment and proactive in terms of anticipating and resolving potential issues/delays and working with the internal stakeholders on finding solutions
