Jefferson Healthcare is looking for an amazing full-time Community Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting prescriptions, preparing medications for dispensing, and verifying medication orders. In addition, you will be expected to maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. What you’ll need:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Washington State Pharmacy Technician Certification (A) in good standing required
- One year of hospital and/or retail pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Must continually maintain PTCB or ExCPT National Certification
- BLS Certification required within 3 months of hire
- Must stay current in knowledge base, certifications, and licenses indicated above, and meet Hospital-mandated education requirements
Schedule: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours/week; Variable Schedule; 8 hours shifts
