The CIT Team manages the work of the Mental Health and Substance Use Alliance (MHSU Alliance). The MHSU Alliance is a group of community leaders from about 20 organizations, along with consumers and family members, working with community partners to restructure our system of mental health services; significantly improving their responsiveness to the needs of those individuals most affected by mental health and substance use challenges in our community.

This position staffs the Community Behavioral Health Re-Assessment and Development of New Master Plan project. The project is a detailed assessment and analysis of behavioral health services and supports in Larimer County, resulting in the creation of recommendations for development, expansion, and/or improvement of critical behavioral health services – in particular, specific levels of prevention, treatment and recovery services for substance use disorder and mental health that either do not currently exist locally or have limited capacity.
