Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Communications Manager to join our team leading the marketing communication strategy for our electrolyzer business within New Power, Cummins fifth and newest business segment.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Partner with business leadership to establish marketing communication strategies and ensure communication, planning, and results are effectively achieving business objectives, and are maximized across digital platforms
• Collaborate to help deliver New Power’s content marketing strategy and editorial board. This includes how we tell New Power’s story and produce content in a wide variety of forms, including blog posts, videos, photo essays, listicles, case studies and long-form articles. Coordinate with key business and functional stakeholders from ideation to publication, as well as drive how we strategically amplify the business’ content on digital and social platforms.
• Strategize and execute communication tactics including creative, technical and/or promotional material writing, presentations, blog posts, infographics, social media, events and videos.
• Collaborate with team members and other segment communication leaders to align messaging and create and optimize communication and marketing opportunities for New Power across the company.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Must have previous experience in a Marketing / Communications / PR role (In-house or Agency; B2B experience preferred).
• Must be fluent in English (Written and Verbal) and ideally Dutch (preferred, but not required).
• Digital experience preferred (emerging trends, digital for business, analyzing metrics and optimizing).
• Degree level qualification preferred, but not required
• Industry experience with hydrogen, renewable energy or new technologies preferred, but not required
