Program Description:

Littleton Academy is a JRI school that specializes in working with students and their families to help them gain skills to have a successful educational experience while providing them with a nurturing and safe environment to learn and grow.

Littleton Academy is a 16-bed therapeutic residential school for children ages 6-12 that focuses on trauma informed care for children with mental health and mild/moderate learning disabilities. At

Littleton Academy the staff work daily, through the Attachment Regulation and Competency (ARC) lens, to help students build healthy attachments, learn and practice regulation skills, and build competency to help establish the foundations for a successful education experience. Littleton academy also incorporates Applied Behavioral Analysis and Permanency into its program model.

Littleton Academy provides comprehensive care including a small inclusive classroom setting, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and 24 hour direct care supervision.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a full time Clinical Director. This dynamic, dedicated, eager, and motivated individual will provide direct oversight of the clinical services provided to our clients. The Clinical Director will work in tandem with the Program Director and Administrative team to provide a shared vision of the programmatic clinical services and to maintain positive relationships with outside agencies, families, and other involved parties.

Job duties include:

  • Direct oversight and supervision of all clinical services provided, including individual, family and group therapies along with unique therapies, including ARC and Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy.
  • Direct oversight and supervision of Alternative Behavioral Analysis and Permanency services.
  • The Clinical Director will also provide direct supervision to clinicians and lead trauma informed services throughout the program.

Requirements:

  • LICSW or LMHC required
  • Experience providing therapeutic treatment to latency-aged children and their families strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and strong leadership skills required.
  • Strong foundation in ARC (Attachment Regulation and Competency).
  • Strong boundaries and sound ethics required.
